A recent project by Toolin Around Handyman involved a challenging shower replacement in Bakersfield. The customer’s existing shower unit had a hole which led to an unexpected issue during demotion – gophers had filled the entire wall cavity with dirt! Our experienced team removed a whopping 25 buckets of dirt before proceeding. We capitalized on the access, replacing the old shower valve and upgrading the plumbing in that area. After installing a new remodel unit shower, we completed the restoration of the area by patching the drywall and installing a new shower trim kit.
